A brief explanation on what the heck a Maknae Line is! Maknae is the romanized word meaning youngest brother. In Korea their is a hierarchy based upon age so if someone is younger than you, you will refer to them as a your dongsaeng (Seoulistic). But if the person is the youngest in a group of people they would be the maknae (Seoulistic). BTS is a group of 7, so this means that the 3 youngest members are part of the group are a part of the maknae line. The members in the maknae line are Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jeongguk. The oldest of the dance line and a vocalist in BTS, Park Jimin. His stage name is his real name, Jimin (Bangtanboys.wikia). He is also often called the nickname ChimChim. He was born in Busan South Korea on October 13th 1995 making him 22 years old (Bangtanboys.wikia). He is best known for his amazing dancing skills, he is a main dancer in BTS. "He entered Busan High School of Arts as the top student in modern dance, but later transferred to Korea Arts High School" (Kprofiles). The voice who can hold the deepest key and the singer turned actor of BTS, Kim Taehyung. He is more commonly known as his stage name, V (Bangtanboys.wikia). Taehyung was born on December 30th 1995 making him 22 years old (Bangtanboys.wikia). He was born In Seo District Daegu South Korea and went to Korean Arts High School and graduated in 2014 (Bangtanboys.wikia). He is also currently attending Global Cyber Universtiy(Bangtanboys.wikia). The lead vocalist, dance line memeber and the real makane, Jeon Jeongguk. He is the makane to everyone in the group having been born on September 1st 1997 making him 20 years old (Bangtanboys.wikia). He was born in Busan South Korea and is more commonly known as his stage name, jungkook or his nickname the golden maknae (Bangtanboys.wikia). He is called the golden makane because he is good at singing, dancing, rapping, sports and basically everything (Bangtanboys.wikia).
